May 2008 to present – In private practice as Andrew A. Feinstein, Attorney at Law LLC. My practice is focused on representing children with disabilities and their families in securing a Free Appropriate Public Education, as guaranteed by federal and state law.
September to December 2008 – Adjunct professor, Central Connecticut State University, teaching legal and administrative issues in special education.
March 2008 – Presenter of seminars on discipline and attorney/advocate relations at Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) national conference.
2005 to 2006 – Instructor at Lorman Seminars on special education in Connecticut, discipline and inclusion.
June 1998 to May 2008 – Attorney with law offices of David C. Shaw, LLC, a law firm devoted to protecting the rights of individuals with disabilities, focused on special education and civil rights.
May 1993 to 1998 – Principal, Andrew A. Feinstein, attorney at law, P.C.. a general practice law firm in Simsbury, Connecticut. Practice areas included employment law (both employee and employer), including discrimination and disability rights, organization for non-for-profit organizations, environment law, civil litigation, real estate, white collar crime and personal injury.
